Duties of the Agency Liaison Officer

The Wisconsin Wing (WIWG) Agency Liaison represents Civil Air Patrol (CAP) to various governmental agencies, emergency services agencies and politicians. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• - Initiating contact with an agency and present them with how CAP can assist them.
• - Foster and maintain relationships with these organizations for the future.

The ultimate goal for the Agency Liaison is to get missions for WIWG through exposure and educating other agencies to help them better understand who CAP is and what CAP can do for them.

Agencies worked with:

• - Department of Military Affairs (DMA)
• - National Guard
• - Homeland Security Committee
• - Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM)
• - Department of Natural Resources (DNR)
• - National Weather Service (NWS)
